| I'm a casual puzzler, and not always jigsaws. Wasgij puzzles are a challenge. I've completed 2 or 3 of these. Currently I'm completing a 3000 piece Ravensberger 'World Map'. It was a Christmas present from the family. The first task was to extend the dining table to have a useable surface. Second was to have a roll-away mat on which to complete the puzzle. This enabled the table to be cleared if guests arrived. Typically three of us at home could manage on the end of the dining table. A 3000 piece puzzle just fits the largest roll-up mat I could find. Third was to get a pack of plastic see through sandwich bags for storage of pieces. Fourth was to sort the obvious elements of the puzzle; the usual edges but in my case I also separated surrounds to the world, figures, coastal, land mass, and large text. As the puzzle developed I used the same technique for subdividing the larger bags of pieces. My casual approach (fitting it in with doing other things than puzzle) has taken me about 6 months so far. I expect to finish it within 2 weeks. Next task is how to mount it for display without gluing or purchasing expensive kits. Any ideas?
