Hi Guys,
My name is Chris and in my spare time I have developed a free app called "jPuzzle Free" for iPhone/iPad/iPod touch.
 jPuzzle allows the user to take or choose a photo and turns it into a fun and interesting jigsaw puzzle. 
There is also a paid version called "jPuzzle" featuring various extras i.e more pieces

DARPA Shredder Challenge

I just wanted to tell you guys about a puzzle challenge of sorts. My colleagues and I at UCSD are working on the DARPA shredder challenge (www.shredderchallenge.com/). The goal of this challenge is to reconstruct shredded documents in order to win a $50,000 prize. We have implemented a collaborative web tool (shredder-challenge.ucsd.edu/) so the people can come together to work on these puzzles. If users of our tool solve the puzzles before all other teams, then we will distribute the prize money among all the users.

We want to recruit users who really enjoy solving puzzles. If any of you guys are interested in checking out the puzzles, you can go to our website at shredder-challenge.ucsd.edu/ . And let us know if you have any questions.

Unfortunately only facebook version available.

It lets you scale a picture and pick number of pieces you wish. Even 2000+ pieces (depends on screen resolution).
Puzzle pieces are generated randomly so every game is different :)
